Does what is states in the description. Portable and light weight, easy to move around. Initially bought for my bedroom. A Spring storm caused a ceiling leak. After industrial strength dehumidifiers and fans dried out my bedroom, there was still an odor. I purchased this combination air purifier/dehumidifier. The air in my bedroom is cleaner, no more musty odor and surprisingly, this small but mighty machine continues to draw out any lingering dampness the rainstorm left behind six months ago!

The dehumidifier portion is spectacular. I needed this during the summer (&really every other season) in South Korea. I had to dump the collection container twice a day because of the humidity. My room air stayed crisp. I didn't even notice how extreme the difference was until I had to step out of my room and the wet air took over my lungs. Heavy sufferer of allergies so I almost felt like I was choking when I had to leave. No exaggeration. The purifier is also great. I had a bunny who shed like the rain. This made the smell unnoticeable. I even put it close to the cage and it sucked up the fly away furs. Awesome. We love a strong motor and suction. I only needed this one unit for my simple, entire apartment. The con is the filter needs change at least every 3 months, which is too much for me. It's also not a very quiet machine. It's a loud hum. Comparable to hearing your neighbor cutting grass, 3 houses down, with your regular windows closed. Too loud for my liking. The buttons are simple and the unit is pretty compact and not too bad looking. All in all, it's a great buy.

Works very well in our large bathroom and adjacent open closet space. Combined it's about 240 square feet of space. The water resubmit is easy to slide out and pour out - I literally do it while brushing my teeth! Would purchase again in a heartbeat. Very quiet too!
