I honestly was just trying to see what it would do because I couldn't wash dishes that day at the sink. Since I wouldn't be running water I thought to throw one of them in my dishwasher to just see. Mind you my dishwasher has been broken for about a year. It had molded in there and we got a shop vac to get the moldy water out. We thought we had solved the problem but 3 weeks later it did it again. I was so upset because we have a new house built Dec 2018. This stuff was not supposed to happen. Anyway I ran it and forgot about it. I was looking for something and checked the dishwasher forgetting I emptied it. I use these in the dishwasher. I only run my washer about once every 7 to 10 days. Sometimes the dishwasher can get smelly depending on what I put in there. As soon as it gets smelly I just place one in the bottom of my dishwasher and they make my dishwasher smell lemony fresh. You just leave them in there when you run the dishwasher with your regular detergent.
This little ball is exactly what our garbage disposals need!

This cleaner is the bomb. I love that I no longer have to put on the surgical gloves, dig out the rubber lip of the disposal, scrub the entire contraption with a tiny wire brush. I follow the easy instructions for Plink and boom...this little yellow ball does all the work for me. How good is that! I admittedly still tear the thing apart every other month as I'm a bit of a germ freak but no more having to do that disgusting job every week. Woo hoo! Love you Plink!
