We were to the point where our septic drain field (we have a drain well, in the southwest USA), was failing. They had done a repair and even done an acid clean and it was still filling to the top with normal, even conservative use. It was flooding the backyard and backing up into the house. This was our last ditch effort. I thought it might work because the previous owners had been draining the softener into the septic and figured it had caused sodium buildup. We used two gallons of this when the drain field was almost full (it is a 30 ft. deep pipe that drains through holes in the sides). After a week it was still full but maybe just a little lower. We used another two gallons. Next time we looked it was almost to the bottom. We used another two gallons about two weeks later for good measure. Have not had a single issue since. The next step was drilling a new drain field pipe at $10,000+. This was our last hope. It worked. Couldn't believe it. We plan to use two gallons every six months for maintenance. I would say, if you have septic issues that are stemming from the drain field not draining the water, this would be a good thing to try.
From a locked up system to now draining.

After pumping the septic tank twice in 3 months due to water over the tank, dug up the distribution box. Grey water going nowhere, only way to get ride of grey water is by 5 gallon bucket. 4 showers, 1 load laundry and dishwasher daily adds up to many buckets. Ran a 50ft snake down the lines with no problem, ran it with a hose so that I could put in enzymes and Oxy treatments, No changes. Put 1 gallon Septi-Flow down into the lines, No change, no flow. Put small holes between 1 and 2 feet deep into the ground around the lines and using a turkey baster put diluted Septi-Flow into the soil around the lines. Took a bit to see results but I haven't had to use the bucket again. Still more work to go but would rather send $50 a month in getting the system better than replace a system where Title 5 now says I can't have one.
Only stuff that works.

If you have an old septic system that backs up every few months, buy the 4-gallon package of this stuff. Make sure to let your system completely drain for a couple of days before using it. I usually skip a day of showering and avoid washing dishes or using the sink for anything over those two days. That way the system gets the full effect of the 4-gallon concentration. At that point, I pour all 4 bottles into the toilet and let it work for another two days. I might take one quick shower over those two days, but that's it. You should see a dramatic drop in your septic level. Depending on septic system issues, you will likely need to do this again in 1 year.

Still Waiting For It To Work

This was mainly for my dry well that my soft water regen line goes to. Over the years it has slowly become worse with overflowing, due to the salts that creates the hard-pan/dead-pan. It's been ~6 days after treatment and my unit regened on that 6th day. Dry well still overflowed as before prior to this treatment, so no improvement yet. I'll see if any better next regen cycle, being this product takes more than a week to effectively work? I only used a gallon of treatment in my small dry well in relation to a 1500 gallon septic system this product was designed for.

The other three gallons I used in my septic system as a preventable measure/maintenance semi-shock treatment. Two gallons directly into my effluent line going to D-box and field lines. Remaining gallon was poured into my tank, since I already had the lid off. Last thing I want is a failed drain field in the future.

Strong sulfur odor when using, which is no surprise being what the ingredient is and is somewhat expensive for what it is in my opinion.

Results TBD, hence only 3 stars. I'll update and change my rating if my dry well stops over flowing.

-edit- 8/8/2019. Dry well hasn't overflowed last few regen cycles. Takes awhile to work on dead-pan, but it works. Upgraded to 5 stars.
