I am kind of annoyed by some of the reviews about this product.

If you have any idea what you are doing, the shelves will install perfectly and tight against the wall. If they are loose, take them off and tighten the screws a half turn or so. As far as the wall anchors not working, make a hole with the screw first, then put the anchor in and then the screw. As for the "template" holes not matching....oh my god....read the directions!! No where does it tell you this is a template to be used in marking your holes.
The directions are so clear and so easy. These look wonderful, price is incredible, but I guess if you aren't smart enough to read the directions you deserve to have a crappy looking wall. Just don't blame the seller or the manufacturer. It's not their fault you don't know how to read!!!

My girlfriend is a collector for various works of art. So, we did some researching on the perfect wall-mount shelves to make it easy to display her stuff. Target sold only a few designs but nothing to what we we're looking for. Other wall mount shelving units require you to "guess" where the nail holders are as you're installing the shelves. What we like about the 3 shelves is that the nail holes are visible when screwing the unit onto the wall. The anchor wall nails and the nails were included in the package. The nails are the popular t-shaped heads so it made it accessible for me to quick install them! The shelves feel sturdy! It holds 5 pounds so far! That will probably be the best limit I'll reinforce for one shelf. The three shelves came in a small square prism box. I got a bit concerned why it was short but the three shelves arrived intact without any damage. I ordered it expecting it to arrive within 15 days but received it within 4 days! So, everything about the shipping process and product quality is superb. There was styrofoam padding wedged between each shelf to keep it from scratching! We are very satisfied and may need to buy another set of three shelves since there's a lot more collectibles we have yet to display!

With the lack of space in my daughter's room, finding ways to store stuff off the floor is a must. While my daughter can be extremely picky, she loved these.

They are small but big enough to show off some cute things. They are ideal for small spaces and were super easy to put up. It took hardly any time at all and didn't cause any damage to the walls. We all know what it is like putting something difficult up and creating several unnecessary holes.

Considering how small and light weight the shelves are, I was impressed with the amount of weight they can hold. With as many things as I have put on them, they have held up well. They are sturdy and durable.

One of my favorite things about these shelves is that the hardware isn't visible at all, giving it a clean and overall better and classy look.

Overall, I'm very happy with them. They are excellent quality and great for the price you pay.

I like these floating shelves! Having trouble finding things small enough for them though. They look good on my bathroom wall.

These are nice small shelves and decent quality. I'd have gladly paid double for a little better quality.

Don't get me wrong, they are good quality, just not great. The shelves look great installed and they're very easy to install if you've ever used screw in drywall anchors. (see below for better install instructions)

My only complaint is the circular mounts on the back of the shelves. This metal hardware is fastened to the fiberboard shelves via screws that are far too short and don't have deep enough thread to really bite. I removed a shelf to adjust the wall anchors for a tighter fit, and ended up very easily pulling the mount right out of the shelf.

Install instructions:
Before starting, use a stud finder to not only avoid a stud, but to be sure there are no electric conduits or plumbing in the way. I can't express enough how important this is. Skipping this could cause an electrocution or serious water leak!
1. Use the included level, placing it on top of the shelf to mark your location on the wall.
2. Take two of the drywall screws and screw them into the "lock" part of the mounting brackets on the back of the shelf. Do this for each shelf, as the mounts are a little different on every shelf.
3. Put a drop of white out, nail polish or paint on the head of each of these screws, and carefully place the shelf on the line you drew in step one. The paint will transfer to the exact location you'll need for step 4.
4. Using a Philips screw driver and hammer, lightly pound the screwdriver into the wall where the paint transferred. Knock the screwdriver all the way through. You may also use a drill for this step.
5. Using the same Philips screwdriver, screw in the drywall anchor using light force and turning slowly. The idea is to do as little damage to the drywall as possible. Screw the anchor in until ALMOST flush with the wall. DO NOT tear the drywall, stop just before this.
6. Screw the Philips screw into the drywall anchor stopping about 1/4 inch from flush on the anchor. Going too far and having to unscrew it can back the anchor out.
7. Place the shelf. If it's not tight to the wall, remove the shelf and tighten the Philips screw in small increments and try the shelf again until you're happy with it.
