Lentils are the only type of bean that I like and that my tummy can tolerate, after reading many reviews, decided to try this brand. What a Great taste and the ease of use can't be beaten--- it is great.
This lentil may be accompanied by anything you desire---make a fancy dish or simply add to a broth or to a canned soup, this is a very versatile product.
The most important part is that you don't have to do the soaking, softening etc but the lentils taste like you did all the steps yourself.

We really like these lentils. With just lentils, a bit of water, and salt in each pouch, they're ideal for a quick meal. They work beautifully in soup, or added to a beef stew or ground meat. Very tasty, although a bit too salty if you are eating them on their own. We will definitely continue buying these.

I LOVE these lentils! I live in a place where I can't cook for myself, so these are a life-saver when I don't want to eat what's offered where I live. I also get TWO meals out of one pouch, which is great.
The flavor of these is nice. They're cooked just enough & not mushy. I like the light amount of salt, too.
There's a recipe on the back for lentil soup, and I wouldn't recommend using these for soup because there are less expensive options to make soup with, and I think putting these in soup would overcook them. Use dry lentils for soup & save money.
I am not working now, but I would definitely bring these to work for an easy lunch!
I have just purchased these again & will continue to enjoy them. P.S.: I find no need to heat these, even if I refrigerate them, but, of course, that's up to you. Cheers.
UPDATE: My reorder from same seller & brand DOES have a lot of liquid in the pouch, and customer service says there's no way to get around this, so I'm keeping them & will make do. Disappointing! Now I understand why others complained, & it's a shame there's no way to specify "without added liquid"!
