Great product for the money

This pole saw snapped right into my Husky 128 trimmer. I'm happy to have read the reviews prior to buying as they are very helpful. The chain does come very tight so I loosened it a tad and the preset chain oiler had to be increased as well (about one turn out seems to provide adequate lube without over doing it). I did notice that the wood chips can collect inside the housing so make sure tap the saw to knock some of those out before jumping to the next limb.
Now as others have stated the housing is plastic but being a home owner and not running this commercially I feel it is plenty adequate as long as you aren't beating the thing into the side of a tree. Also the plastic is much lighter and easier to hold up in a tree so keep that in mind when you're 20 limbs in and you're happy that your arms haven't fallen off. Use your head with this pole saw it isn't meant to down massive oak trees, just to trim small to medium sized limbs. So as long as you don't expect it to function as a 20" lumberjack duty chainsaw then it'll fit your needs just fine.

It is definitely a "discount saw," but considering the price, I'd say I got all that I paid for & probably a little bit more.

Pros:
Cuts fast & can handle some pretty heavy limbs
Fairly lightweight & easy-to-handle even with the extension installed

Cons:
The attachment bar likes to rotate (twist) a bit in the socket of your powerhead, especially on bigger cuts
The plastic "teeth" at the bottom of the head are about 95% decorative and seem like they'll beak easily. a smooth, but stronger stop/guard would be far more useful there.
Non-articulated head (as others have commented) does make under-cuts difficult-to-impossoble to make in many cases, so be VERY aware of your cutting angles, and the directions the limbs are going to drop (frequently directly at your head)!
Bad-ass baby chain saw

I've seen several reviews on here saying this thing is junk. Don't believe it. I bought this just to do some light trimming around my house, but after hurricane Irma, I've been using it to clear tons of fallen trees at the local mountain bike park. I've cut hundreds of arm size trees, and several dozen as thick as the bar is long. I've used it like I don't care if it breaks, and it's still going strong. I bought an extra chain, and I haven't even used it yet.
I've thrown the chain off twice, both my fault for letting it get bound up cutting a large log under tension.
I've cut everything from vines, to trees I had to cut from both sides because they were thicker than the bar. Admittedly, I've likely taken a lot of the long term life out of it, but so far it's just cut and cut and cut. No matter what, I've already gotten my money's worth out of it.

Using it on a Toro head unit, by the way.
Nice Saw

I have about a mile and a half of trails through the woods on my property. For the past three or four years I have neglected the trails and they were almost overgrown from limbs growing into the trails from the sides, seeking sunlight. I spent about 5 days using the pole saw hacking the limbs back, so that I could open the trails back up. I used the pole saw instead of the chainsaw because I wanted to get the high overhead limbs as well. I also used it to thin out smaller trees in the wooded area around my house. Since most of the trees were no bigger three inches max it was easier to use this instead of the chain saw to eliminate bending over as much. I am not sure the saw was designed for this heavy a work but it held up beautifully. Had to sharpen the blade a few times ( my fault, easy to hit the dirt when you are trying to cut close to the ground on a standing tree). I would definitely recommend this saw for the average homeowner. I think you would get years of service out of it
Better than I thought...

I didn't really need a chainsaw (and didn't like the idea of the blade being close to body parts), but I had some branches to cut and brush to clear. This attachment works even better than I thought it would at cutting. Makes short work of even a 4" diameter branch or base, while keeping the busy end away from you. I owned another Trimmer Plus attachment (brushcutter) prior to purchasing this one, and since that one worked well, I wasn't hesitant to buy this one. The only thing that you have to be aware of it to not inadvertently bump the blade sideways against something while cutting, or the blade can come off. No danger or anything, as it is captured and short, but still can be annoying when it happens. The good thing is that it is easy to put it back on its track - 2 nuts, a screw, and an adjustment screw. Would buy again.
