My 12 yr old son decided to use his gift card to buy this for him and his 2 yr old sister for our quarantine entertainment. If you don't have wind it can be difficult to get the big bubbles going, but it is still so much fun to use. Perfect for backyard play, maybe even for a birthday party activity.

Worked well and everyone had a great time trying to make the longest bubble. Important to use quality dish detergent (Dawn) and to let it drain back into pan/bucket before pulling away - otherwise...you're going to splatter lots of friendlies. :-)

Something I started doing during COVID is going out to community markets and other places where people gather and simply create gigantic bubbles for a couple hours. The little black weight at the bottom is a key detail that is the difference between it being difficult or working smoothly every time. And the handles are comfortable.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I wish the company would carry different sizes (longer rods, larger string circumference)

Form and function are great, I only deduct a star for one reason: durability. These wands are great for teen and adult bubble wizards who want something portable for parties and festivals, but a 6 year old will immediately bend and destroy them if given half a chance. I had one tyke trip and fall on mine, it ruined them unfortunately! I'm buying another pair because they rock though, I'm going to be a lot more wary this next go around
