I've had different christmas or twinkle lights in my room for years and with moving to a new house, I had a very specific vision in mind for some twinkle lights in my bedroom and I was really struggling to find something that could match my vision and thankfully I found these! To paint you a picture, I really wanted a nice set of curtain lights that had a steady on mode and would work with a silly clapper we use to turn them on and off. I don't really care for the different modes since we never use them. All I wanted was the steady on. I looked at a dozen listings, all of which had all these different modes, remotes, USBs, different plug in packs, and various reviews switching between the lights reseting when turned off and back on, or staying the same. Tbh it was overwhelming. After extensive research and review reading, I found these. Now let me explain the 4 stars.
PROS
- The settings stay the same when turned off and back one. This means, they work with my clapper, I can keep them on the Steady On mode, and I don't have to worry about where the remote is or pushing a button 7 times just to change the function.
- The wires STRETCH. I measured and verified lengths before purchasing but I was still hesitant when I opened the box. They just didn't seem like they would actually reach the lengths I needed but sure enough, give them a light pull, and the strings really do reach 9.8ft.
- There's A LOT of extra wire to reach between where the cord plugs in and the first light string so there's plenty of room for the light to plug in to an outlet about 9ft down and 2ft to the left from where the lights actually start and still have extra wire. It's extremely helpful to place these in a room with limited outlets and still have them set exactly where and how I want them.
- The Dimming function on the remote is wonderful! There's like 4 or 5 different brightness levels and it really helps set the mood whether you want brighter lights or looking for more of a nightlight vibe.
- They give you additional zipties so you can adjust the distance between lights, which is nice.
CONS
- There are no lights along the main cord. This is more of a personal preference I guess but I would've liked if there had also been some lights long the main cord that goes along the top. The lights are still beautiful without it, but it does look a little awkwardly dark along the top.
- The remote kind of sucks. Once I had the lights all installed and set up, I wanted to play with the different modes, naturally. However, unless I was within like 3ft of the plug and pointed very directly at it, the remote didn't work. Since I don't really plan to use the remote, this isn't took bad for me, but others be warned. You'll want to keep these in an easily accessible outlet.
- You cannot attach additional lights to these. Again, not something that really affects me, but if you're using these for an event or just want to connect several, just know, these cannot connect to other light strands like some other versions can.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and definitely think these are worth the money!

These lights are very good I wish I could assign 4.5 Stars. The only difficulty I have is in using the dimmer function. It does not work easily and requires multiple attempts. Otherwise I appreciate that this light curtain is not made from fairy light thin wire. I had a set of those and they lasted just a few months. The wires were so thin the wires could get tangled too easily. These lights are absolutely gorgeous. To avoid having to deal with having to untangle the wires, hang up the lights first. Each strand of lights that hangs down is tied up in a coil. Do not untie that coil or bundle until you have the lights in place and you should have no problem. When I first unwrapped each bundle I thought the lights would not reach the floor. I was proven wrong in a short time. These lights come with Zip ties which proved to be handy in two ways: 1. They're useful for securing the lights in place to hang them up. 2. If you want to keep the lights from reaching to floor, use the zip tie to loosely gather the lights into a bundle. In these photos, two of the light strands are still in the original bundle and are not hanging down (see photos). What I don't know is how long the lights will last. I first bought similar lights in 2013 and they remain lit continuously for 7 years, and remained light even when one of the strands was cut at the bottom. Those lights were much more difficult to set up however"¦these are easy because it is like a curtain

Okay so for the price I was a little skeptical about how good these were gonna be and honestly they have delivered. Not gonna lie the mini remote is a bit janky but works well it has 8 different settings. I keep it on soft glow and just on and you can adjust the brightness. They were super easy to install and the little box it came with had little zip ties to hang them up. It's easy to set up just be neat or all your wires will get tangles and you'll be ucked ;)

We needed accent bedroom lighting. We had an idea of what we wanted but couldn't find the old product we were looking for and stumbled across these. They reach floor to ceiling and almost wall to wall. We do not use the remote but use the Coordinate remote switch, also available from Amazon, so we have an inconspicuous push button switch on the nightstand to operate the lights.

A lot of times Amazon purchases aren't great, but these lights were actually really nice. They worked perfectly and didn't have any issues getting them to unravel quickly.
