I have used this FAITHFULLY for 2 years now. Just had to replace it only because I lost the charging cord. During the summers I shaved my black lab/border collie down on the highest setting without a guard and he LOVES it. Keeps him nice and cool. Shaved once a week 8 months out of the year. Honestly these are the best clippers to use on anxious pups. My dog had a traumatic experience with a pet smart groomer that resulted in an ER visit & a life long condition, because of this I've had to learn to groom him myself. I have never used clippers before. These are very quite and easy to use. I love that they are cordless. My 2 chihuahuas shed quite a bit so I decided I could reduce some of their hair loss myself. I don't want the completely shaved so it does take patience. I have to remove the guards often as the cut hair builds up inside it. That is to be expected. I definitely have covered the cost of the product in grooming visit savings. My dogs actually like being groomed by me. I'd definitely buy them again.
