Helpful in rougher waters for sure

My wife made me buy these for everyone to snorkel with. I thought it was stupid but did as I was told. Turns out, this was really nice. I inflated it about half way and then snorkeled with it in rougher water. I was able to relax and remain at a more horizontal position which was great when we were in shallower water. I did find the strap that went through the legs to be slightly uncomfortable because it rubbed on the wrong area. Later in the day I undid this strap and it worked just as well with just the waist strap. After this, I could rest my chin on the vest and did not have to hold my head up much so I could relax a little.

We bought 2 adult and 1 child size to bring on a cruise. They are so light weight for traveling. We saved so much $$$ by snorkeling of the beaches on these beautiful islands and having our own vests. We also brought a snorkel, no fins needed since they are heavy to pack. Vests stayed inflated, no leaks, kept us afloat. Besides, think about it - even if you go on a snorkel excursion, do you really want to put your mouth on the vest to blow it up when there have been so many people using the vest? I'd chose my own!

Just what I wanted for snokeling. I have all the gear for scuba, boating and kayaking. This just adds a level of safety when in the water. Field tested in pool and works as advertised. Should rinse and hang to dry. Inflation is easy. Do not use for anything other than snorkeling as life jackets for paddleboarding are USCG approved for that activity. Manual inflate means not to be used on a boat. If you think you saw this in a WWII movie you are right. This is the "Mae West" my dad wore. Later the Navy used auto inflators with pull cords. This presumes you are awake and healthy and just got tired while swimming and needed flotation. No distress strobe, no whistle, no SOLAS tape. Good price for such an item.

Before of all I want to thank to customer service because in my order two of my lifejackets were damaged, and asked them for a new replacement and they attended me very kind and replace them for a new pair of lifejackets.
The lifejackets are very easy to use and very comfortable to swimming. The thing that I liked of this lifejackets is when you're not using them you can easily keep them in their net bag for the next use because it doesn't need many space.

I took this on a Caribbean cruise and it was better than I expected. On two excursions, I wore similar ones provided by the excursion, but on one I decided to use this, since the snorkel area had a lot of boat traffic, and the excursion life jackets were black, so not very visible.
This one stayed down under my chest much better than the excursion vests. No wedgie! It seems well made and it worked well, so I'd definitely purchase again.
