These curtains are very nice. I returned them only because they did not fit into the room. After I hung them on I realized I needed a different color. The curtains did not have the metal holes, but I was going to insert them myself.

As you can clearly see these are not blackout curtains but they are room darkening. Very soft velvet. These look great for my home theater that I'm designing. No need for steaming or ironing. These unfolded perfectly flawless.

Good quality heavyweight drapes. I purchased three sets for my dining room in blush beige. I steamed the wrinkles with wrinkle releaser spray and a steamer on the back side of the fabric as instructed. A bit time consuming on three sets, but the packaging wrinkles came out and look great. The blush beige color changes with the amount of light in the room. During the daytime with sunlight in the room they appear a light tan with a slight blush pink cast. In the evening they appear a more dark beige toward a brown. It just depends on the color, look and feel you are wanting to create in your room. I had light airy champagne colored curtains prior to this, so I'm still trying to determine if they work for me. The quality is good and the price is also excellent.
Might have to redo every room now....

Purchased these for my living room and am so in love with the dark green version, I'm considering another set for a different room I had no intention of adding curtains to. They're so beautiful and well exceed the quality I expected of the price...I just might have to redecorate more rooms with more of these curtains. Buy at your own risk. I'll be back 😂
*The dark green blocks light very well. It does cast a reddish glow when the sunlight is direct, so It's not truly blackout in my opinion, BUT it's pretty darn close. I don't think a lighter color would be as effective for blocking light though.
