These were a surprising hit with the kids in my daughters class when we bought them to donate to the classroom treasure box. We tried one out first and it did change color, as advertised, and the kids were all more excited than I thought to earn them.

These are very cool .... we got them in our mail box on a warm day - so at first when I took them out they didn't look like they were changing color .... well I held them over our air vent AND YES !!! Great pencils! We've yet to sharpen and use them so we're not sure how they write but as a goody bag favor they are amazing. They keep changing colors when I handle them to put erasers on them and when I put them in the goody bags. Some colors change easier than others, the blue ones are slow to change and requires you to hold them a little longer before you see the color switch. The rest change colors with just a second's worth of touching! I can even breathe on them and they change color lol. Long story short I bought it a second time to give out to my son's class since everyone liked them.
