I ordered these a few months ago. My order kept getting delayed so I cancelled it I got a refund. I decided to give it another try and I ordered them again. I'm so glad I did. The order arrived on time and they are so good! I'm very pleased.

In order of occurrence. Shipping was quicker than promised. Shipped in nice cardboard box not some padded bag or. envelope. Padded on the inside. Peppers came in two, one pound netted bags. (See photo.). Beautiful color, and feel. That's about it, cut small hole in netting, pulled enough out to gorge myself.
Heated pan, slather peppers in your favorite cooking oil, (Sesame is good.), and place in hot pan. I used med-high, high if their refrigerated. Let them sit still in the pan for a few minutes. They may begin to crackle. That's okay. Then begin to roll them around until you start to see blistering. Feel for softening as well. You'll get an idea when they're done. They'll soften. Then, sprinkle them with a coarse salt. Some like sesame seeds, I prefer "Everything but the bagel.".
Others I'm sure will give better advice.
Like I said though, I received very high quality shishitos. About to buy more.
Take care and enjoy your peppers.

Very firm, very fresh, very tasty, though occasionally a bit warmer than expected...

Arrived VERY fresh, very firm, with only the tiniest bit of red scattered about, which ultimately didn't matter, as like with all peppers, can still be eaten just fine. Fell madly in love with Shishitos in a Hello Fresh package of dinners. Was holding them, getting ready to toss 'em (as I am a serious baby when it comes to peppers!) when I saw something in the recipe that led me to believe they would not be THAT hot. Shrugged and gave it a shot, using around a tenth of what was called for. LOVED them! Grabbed the leftovers and munched 'em down alone. :-) Couple of years ago I grew one plant from seed, and it became a pepper producing monster near overnight. Then I forgot it was outside when it first snowed that year, and the next morning it was gone. :-( Anyway, very pleased with the peppers, the quality of them, the taste of them, etc. One heads up only: THESE peppers have a smaller average before coming across the random super hot one. So, while the hot dissipates relatively quickly if peppers hurt you like they do me, consider yourself warned. :-) Enjoy!

These peppers arrived earlier than expected and were in perfectly fresh condition. They are tasty and not hot at all, except fot the 1-in-10 that is the devil's spawn. Still not as Scoville hot as jalapenos or serranos.
Blister them in a medium hot pan with a little olive oil, then a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of crunchy sea salt and you have a top of the world finger food.
