The Purchase:
I purchased (3) 20 piece CAT6 18 inch cable bundles on 20230329 for $21.99 each per pack of 20.
Shipping was average.
What I got:
In each package of 20, I received 2x red, 2x orange, 2x white, 2x grey, 2x blue, 2x purple, 2x black, 2x yellow, 2x pink, and 2x green cables. Each cable was neatly tied with 2 wire twist ties. All 20 cables came in a single large weld-sealed plastic bag
The cables:
From edge to edge of each RJ45, the cables were approximately 18.5 inches long. (See photo). Seeing reviews about dead cables, the first thing I did was test each of the 60 cables, and all were good. The cables are reasonably flexible; they are neither "stiff" nor overly flexible or saggy. I did not however, cut a cable apart to see if the conductors were actually copper as advertised. (Another review claimed these were actually CCA.)
The RJ45 Plugs:
I had no problems with the RJ45 plug clips, and they seem to be average quality. I am using these as patch cables between my switch and my distribution panel, so they won't be frequently swapped or jostled.
Overall:
Overall, so far I am impressed with the cables, and given there are very FEW retailers selling CAT6 18 inch cables at a reasonable price, and even fewer with these color options, I believe this was a good deal. I would have been more impressed if I could have ordered all of 1 color, in various colors, and if the bundle quantities better matched switch and patch panel port capacities. (Like, 24 per pack as an option for a 24 port switch). Though there is no way to predict, I don't feel these cables will fail in my static installation.
