An alternative to punch down jacks.

These come in a box of ten, each individually sealed in a plastic bag. They are indeed toolless, but not as quick and easy to use as I had expected. Trying to terminate 8 wires at one time proved to be very difficult, it was hard to keep everything in place prior to closing the cover, nor was it easy to close the cover on all the wires at once. As other reviewers have stated, this is best done one pair at a time. Raise the cover, position a pair, close the cover, and repeat for the remaining pairs. This is actually faster than trying to do them all at once. Also pay attention to the color code, it is not in the order I expected.
While not required, I added a cable tie to the end of the jack to keep the cover from popping open and wires coming loose from an upward pull on the cable. These are not going to replace punch down jacks, but they have their place. You can replace a bad jack with one of these and just a pair of wire cutters.

Worked for what I needed but could be better quality

They worked ok.One has failed when trying to use it checked and not soldiered well. Not sure I would trust them in an industrial situation. The latch that folds over to pinch the wires in doesn't stay closed well. I got what I needed done with them compelled but not high quality.

These keystone jacks lock in nicely with RJ45 Ethernet cables and have a good fit with most common keystone jacks tested with from lowes, home depot and other supply houses. Ive worked in Audio Video and Networking for commercial and residential systems for 20 years from manufacturing, tech support, distribution and as a dealer and installer. I know a thing or 2500 about CAT6 and its usages. Just want to give a little background. These are easy to use and don't require much more than a wire cutter or snips to cut the wire and sheath off the cat6 cable... that's about it.
I would recommend going pair by pair unwinding a little then aligning into the guides then use the clear lever to punch t down. Then just repeat for the remaining three pairs. Takes very little time and makes it easier to run through a few.
You can't beat the price of these at a dollar each but if you use them a lot like I do I would recommend buying 50 at a time. Better to have them and not need them than to pay $6 each at the local big box...
Im not sure how they will work over time but I didn't have any issues with them and overall they seem to be made well.

Two things - follow the plug's wire order for T568B and do 1 or 2 wires at a time

Two things.
One:
The color order on the plug for T568A and T568B doesn't match anything you've normally seen. Ignore your gut and wire it the way the plug tells you to.Assuming their diagram HAD to be wrong, I wired it for 'normal B' (orange white/orange/green white etc) and it didn't work at all. I cut it off and then wired it the way the pic on the plug shows (orange white/orange/blue white/blue/brown etc) and then it worked fine. No idea why it doesn't confrom to what we're all used to.
Two:
Don't attempt to load all eight wires and clamp it shut once. They won't stay in place. Do two at a time and squeeze the door shut punching them down. The open it back up and continue. Do all eight and close it for good. It doesn't latch so perhaps a piece of electrical tape around the housing to ensure it stays closed inside the box/wall might be a good idea.
I wired the other end of the ethernet plug side was the way you'd expect for B (orange white/orange/green white/blue etc). Thus the wires seemed ALL out of order.
But I got the positive tester result and then a gig connection on my Win 10 all using 17 year old Cat5e.
Speed test showed 943/24 which is perfect for my Xfinity 800/20 service.

Simple and easy to use for home applications

These jacks were very easy to use in terms of unpacking and being ready to use. Similar to what other reviewers have said it is best to punch down two wires at a time as it will be hard to line up all of the wires prior to punching them down. The jack itself is very easy to install once the wires have been put into place. This would be something I recommend as a quick and easy replacement for jacks in your home. It is a bit hard to clip into place when installing so it may require patience depending on the type of wall plate you will be installing it into.
