Okay, but doesn't work on all lights

The dimmer is probably fine for other lights or fixtures. As clearly stated in the product description, this doesn't work on all lights. I bought 'Holiday Bright Lights(tm) Starry Twinkle Light Set' from Blain's Farm & Fleet and was hoping to dim them as they are a bit too bright on the Christmas tree. (Pic 1 without dimmer.) At the highest setting on the dimmer (2nd pic), they appear HALF their original brightness and do not twinkle. The twinkle bulbs stay unlit. They do dim down to like 25% and turn off in the 'Off' position. However I was hoping to use full brightness during the day and turn them down at night. Not twinkling is a deal breaker for me. Returned.

Some dimmers do not do a good job with LED lamps. I am dimming a 5 watt bulb and this unit works great. It is new, so I can't comment on reliability but I will send an update if it fails.
