I'm impressed by some aspects of the Aomais Life bluetooth speaker, it's nearfield response is very well composed for it's compact size and price point. It's functionality is Grade A and it's very simplistic to use. I've been taking time to do this review to test out the battery longevity and reliability which is as aspect that was mentioned in a few less positive reviews present, well, the great news is that I've have had absolutely no issues of the sorts with it at all in that reguard. :) It should be noted there is a bright element to the upper response that is very notable with some tracks, but I never found it unpleasing at all. I recommend you use the Aomais life Bluetooth system for near-field listening within a meter of you, such as a desk environment, to get the full effect from the speaker and allow it to show it's best abilities in that way. Overall, I love it and no issues at all. :) 10/10, I will be purchasing more Aomais products, affordable quality!
Great company customer service, robust, crisp, loud sound!

This is now my fourth AOMAIS bluetooth speaker, and I rotate them all steadily. The LIFE model is elegant and very clean-sounding as long as it's placed well. I've been using it regularly for a week now and it's still on the first battery charge! That in and of itself is impressive (but surely over time the battery charges will decrease in duration).
I'm primarily going to be comparing this one to the AOMAIS Sport II here:
- Both are loud, clear, and good at filling a room, porch, or small yard area. I honestly expected the LIFE to be capable of much more loudness and bass due to the subwoofer and wattage, but I can't really tell a difference in loudness or bass between the two.
- The Sport II is very sturdy, highly water resistant, and has metal grilles on the front and rear (which led me to believe it would be bi-directional, but in fact the speakers are very much one-directional, and it'll make a big difference if you're sitting in it's target line as opposed to off to the side or behind it)
- The LIFE has more delicate and exposed vibrating components, so it is better suited to remaining in place indoors. It is about the size of a small loaf of bread, has no handles, and because of the vibrating subwoofer panel on the rear center, I had to quickly learn not to try picking it up and moving it around by the middle with one hand in the way I was accustomed to with the Sport II. The instructions even mention a trick with clear tape for pulling the cones back out if you accidentally press them concave. I thought that was a tad odd and wish there were protective grilles on the front, even removable ones. Carrying the LIFE around might be difficult unless you have long fingers/large hands or both hands available (I tend to always be moving around with a drink, a book, a speaker, and my phone at least, so I wish I had six arms or a better way to carry everything around together safely.)
- The bamboo and dark denim material wrapping around the unit are very classy and fit with a variety of aesthetics, but only time will tell how long the slightly textured puffy painted-on buttons stay undamaged. I imagine regular use or exposure to UV rays or liquid or heat would all quickly deteriorate the fabric and button symbols.
- The LIFE has 3 EQ settings, which is a fantastic option lacking in the Sport II model, but it's not very clear or intuitive which one you're on. I hoped that one of the settings would offer a bass boost for rap, RnB, playing at parties, etc., but the differences between the three settings are very subtle, and it just rotates between them rather than giving any kind of indicator, slider, words, etc. So that feature could be hugely improved upon. If the company hired someone with better English language technical editing skills, the user manual and their general communications would be much easier to understand. Some of the instructions don't actually say anything when I'm trying to learn it better.
- The ability to skip tracks by holding the volume up or down buttons for 2 seconds is nice, but once again, not something you would know how to do unless you read through the confusing sections of the user manual.
- I haven't needed to test the power bank function yet, but I'm really glad it's there! I've taken to pretty much always packing a serious, heavy battery pack (Anker PowerCore 26800 Portable Charger, which is great and reliable for up to 3 devices at once) to charge either my OnePlus 5 phone or one of my other AOMAIS speakers (which I use while bicycling sometimes in the city and on trails - something I would never risk trying with this speaker).
- Lastly, and this is a very important point, I've found AOMAIS customer service to be exceptional. I bought this one to test it and give them feedback. When one of my first two Sport II speakers started sounding hollow, I pointed out that it needed to be more robust. A short time later, they sent me an improved version of it which has indeed been more robust! I didn't have to worry about Amazon's return policy so much because they directly reach out to their customers and find ways to make things right, and they're clearly working on expanding their product line while also improving quality. I have friends who swear by their Bose bluetooth speakers, but for a fraction of the price, my AOMAIS speakers have proven to be just as good (better in some cases).

This speaker sounds amazing

The first thing I noticed about the speaker when unboxing it was the quality of the thing. The wood on it is very beautiful and the speaker has a good heft to it. It turned on right away and has a cool booming noise when it first comes on. It was easy to connect to and has unbelievable sound quality. It fills my living room and kitchen with vibrant noise and you can hear every part of the song that the artist intended you to. I would recommend this speaker to anyone wanting a high quality speaker for their house. Aomais is a great brand.
Nice design , crystal sound , long battery , strong Bluetooth signal

I would say it look pretty and classic , own too many bran JBL and Boom , Bose, Nakamichi but I like this design .
Bluetooth range : extremely strong , I have 2 stories house and but my phone in my room when I went downstairs and still get strong Bluetooth signal
Power : This speaker not too loud but had clear crystal sound and bass really warm even when I turn volume all the way up
Size : It's really big so I don't think they design it for portable
Batterry : I let it run like 4 hours yesterday and still have more than half a little

When it comes to this speaker, the first thing you will notice is the price. It is expensive and the competition at thos price range is vast. However, the build quality is superb, the sound is crisp and full, and the eq settings actually produce an audible difference. My one complaint is that it is not as loud as i expected it to be, enough to fill a decently sized room but not much louder than my smaller aomais sport 2 speaker (as pictured for comparison).
Where it does excel over the sport 2 is in appearance and extra features such as the eq and power bank capabilities.
But what really drove me to buy another speaker from this company even though it is a new product and there were plenty of other options? The answer is customer service.
Ive had my other aomais speaker for some time now. And experienced and issue with one. A few quick emails later and the team helped me resolve my problem. They are very helpful and definitely follow through with their warranty.
