Great value and super quiet!

Definitely a nice pump. Very quiet and seems to be plenty powerful to get the hot water circulated.
As some others have mentioned, the threaded are 3/4 straight thread. All copper threaded pieces are typically tapered (NPT). The way I got around this was to use dielectric fittings with a 3/4 FIP to 3/4 sweat ends. This does two things for you. One, it gets you the straight threads to get a good seal with teflon tape. And two, it allows you to totally remove the pump without having to cut any pipe.
I run the pump using a smart plug hooked to my google home. I set up a custom routine so I just have to say one word and it runs the routine of "Turn on hot water for 1 minute" where the smart plug is named "hot water".

I mistakenly wrote a poor review but like many poor reviews on Amazon: it was user error. I recently moved to the southwest and didn't realize the nature of hard water and had plugged my check valve on the return line. I have a water softener but even with the use of that; it still built up calcium and stopped the return flow of water. the pump is working great now after cleaning out the valve.
Works fine.

Donna what the bad reviews are all about, but this little chineseum circulator pimp works just fine. Simple enough to install, runs well, pulls the rated power on all 3 speeds, does what it needs to. There's one complaint, the gasket used to seal the big "vent" screw in te center of the motor case, is no good. It leaks once you loosen the screw to vent the motor case, even after tightening it down like crazy. I had to use a (very) large flathead with a wrench on it to finally get it to stop leaking. All while very hot water is spraying on my hands.
Also could have come with a union style thread, as it is I had to buy 2 sets of sweat x fip unions to install it. Look for a dielectric union in the pipe type you have.

Best hot water circulating pump ever.

It is hands down over the Watts. Instant hot water. cost is much less than Watts.
Exceeded expectations.

We used this pump in our radiant floor heating setup as a temporary solution.
After one winter of use, I took it apart to check for corrosion, and to my surprise, it was clean. I'm going to add a second one of this style now and we will be relying on these "cheap" pumps to keep our house warm, that is the amount of confidence earned versus buying the 5x price pumps we replaced.
I expected the threads to be sloppy due to the price, however I taped the threads like any connection and 6 months of 20 to 40-ish supply PSI later, no leaks.
Just make sure you prime the pump!
