This is a sweet little machine, especially considering the price. I have successfully played CDs, vinyl records and cassettes. I have old media that I haven't been able to play for years. It's nice to have them back! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the turntable cover. It has cut-out openings on 3 sides, and full sized records actually stick out of the openings. At first I could hear the turntable spin but the record didn't move. It was because I had the unit back too far on the shelf so the record was touching the back wall and couldn't spin! Once I pulled the unit forward it played flawlessly. The other problem with the open sides is that dust, fur, etc. can enter the turntable area. I've covered the turntable up to avoid that issue. I'm still really happy with the unit and am glad to have it!
