These lights were exactly enough light to give me the black light glow that I wanted for my son's room, but not too bright that it would hurt your eyes. They were easy to put up, and easy to connect. The only drawback is that the tape could be a little more sticky. We put clear tacks in the corners of the walls because the tape started to pull down right away in those spots. Not a big deal, since they're less expensive and I already had clear tacks on hand.

These look better than I expected. They aren't super bright, but I don't think you want tht in what is primarily meant to cause light colored objects to glow. It does this pretty well.
It also includes wire tails so you could connect end to end instead of both lengths coming from the power adapter.
I wish there was a remote for it, however.
