First of all, the bicycle rack works well - no problems. Secondly, they have great customer support. I had a friend back into our attached KAC bicycle rack and broke one of the bicycle wheel holders. I wanted to reach the company to see if I could buy that part, but became a little concerned when I found out the company only had an email address for customer support. But they turned out to be incredible. Within 24 hours, the part was on its way to me at "no charge". Amazing! Don't be afraid to buy KAC. I know next time I will again.

Very sturdy fairly easy assembly only thing I would change if you could rotate hooks out of the way to load the bikes. and all racks I wish would come with a wall mount receiver to store on a wall good product.

Bought this rack in 2021 and glad I did. It has performed up to par. We carry 3 Townie bikes on it, and it handles them great. Went to 2 E-bikes last year (still Townie), and still carries the added weight just fine.
- This rack is heavy (~90 lbs or more). Pictures are of a 'rack' I made this year, and strapped to a heavy duty cart. Makes it so much easier to mount and dismount to the vehicle.
- A little tough to load and unload an E-bike to the inside carrier, when using 3 or 4 bike slots. It's a long reach. A lighter bike is not as much an issue. I made a wood ramp that helps, but it is very bulky.
- On our Jeep Wrangler, cannot open the back hatch with rack either up or down. Interferes with spare tire, and hatch door.
- Love that it folds up when not in use. Unless I need to hitch up the boat, I leave it on between trips in the summer.
- Sometimes, we carry 3 bikes on back of the Jeep being towed by a motorhome. Cannot see either set of brake lights with the bikes on. I added a set of magnetic LED trailer lights and zip tied them on the back rear bar. Plugs into 4-pin hitch light outlet.Works great. I was behind someone who had their lights blocked a couple weeks ago. Not safe.

I was only using one of the two 'hooks', just for my own bike. Went on a day-long ride and when I returned, someone had stolen my 'hook'. Let me tell you, I took it pretty damn easy on the way home.

Contacted Customer Service. They sent me a new one with a newly-designed tightening knob ... it locks with the same key that locks the rack to the hitch. Never charged me a dime. Now my rack is secure.

That's great CS. The rack itself is plenty sturdy enough to handle two 55# ebikes, no problem. Highly recommend this rack if you're an ebike owner .... or any of their products.

I am not sure I would trust this bike for its max weight. There was some bounce with 3 regular bikes loaded on it. But everything stayed in place and was secure.
