Keeps products cold

Very sturdy sewn handles are extra tuff for full bag weight. Needs a piece of plastic to cover the bottom to keep bag from sagging when full. Cut a piece of cheap plexiglass to fit the bottom and it still folds.

It isn't too bad. As it does keep hot food warmer than sitting it in the seat next to you, it isn't perfectly insulated. Food will lose a little heat in it. But I advise not to trust cold foods in it for too long. Getting ice from the store to home is more this bags style. IF IT IS A HOT DAY though. On an average day it can keep ice from heavily melting. It's good for what it's made for. Keeping food at their temp while being delivered. THE MAIN ISSUE! Hot foods will cause steam or condensation or something like that. Paper bags get soggy is what I'm trying to say. Pizza boxes get flimsy. So be careful. I leave a lil hole now yo allow moisture out. Over all a good investment. Have had it for A WHILE now.
Perfect for Uber and home use!!

I originally bought this for Uber Eats delivery. I went on one delivery and used a different bag because the order was so small. I have two of these in my trunk and a drink carrier. Plus a dollar general insulated bag. All the bags work perfect for me!! These bags are the best for when I go personal grocery shopping. I put my grocery bags in them when I get back to my car. Then I easily transport them into the house. They keep my food cold. I have even gone about 2 hours or more and when I got home the food was still cold. These bags made up for their cost in just my personal use only. I am glad I purchased them and would do so again. Don't hesitate, go ahead and get them!
Works great so far

I received my insulated cooler bag last week just in time for a trip into town for groceries later that day. Let me explain my scenario and use of the bag, which will likely be different for most others. I live in far eastern Maine near the Canadian border on what I call the edge of civilization. (North of me, there's nothing for the next 50 miles but forests, lakes, swamps, bear, moose, deer and mosquitoes; great country.) I live on the outskirts of a tiny village near the coast. The nearest grocery store is a 20 mile round trip. But I own no car, only an ATV -- which I can legally use to get almost anywhere in town. (Maine has about 5000 miles of legal ATV trails.) I ride a trail -- an old rail bed converted into an ATV trail -- that runs along a bay into the next town over, then ride from the trail on several legal access streets to the grocery. While I'm in town, I like to get other errands done, which means I don't always go straight home from the grocery. That puts perishables in danger. (I buy 2 - 3 weeks of groceries at a time.) Usually by the time I get back to my fridge, frozen juice is liquid, milk and cheese are only cool.

This time, I took my new cooler bag into the store along with my reusable grocery bags (required in Maine). I had the sacker put almost all perishables into the cooler bag and zipped it up. Then I strapped the bag to the top of a DIY wooden tool box on the back of my ATV. It's securely strapped on, but totally exposed to elements there. I made two more stops on the way home, one of which required a 30 minute stop. Temps were in the 70's by that time of day (late afternoon) and sun was beaming down. During that last stop, I started worrying about my perishables because they were on my wheeler which was parked in the low angle afternoon sun.

When I got home, about 1.5 hours after leaving the store, after hauling groceries upstairs to my apartment in a cart, I immediately unzipped the cooler bag with a bit of trepidation. How did it all fare? I was pleasantly surprised. I even said wow. The frozen juice cans (5 of them) were still solid. I had used them like a bag of ice for the main cooling source. My milk, buttermilk and deli items (pound each of roast beef and Havarti cheese, 2 lbs potato salad) were still cold to the touch. Not just cool, but cold. The greens were just as crisps as when I took them out of the case at the store. For such a thin bag -- when I felt it first time, I asked "is this really insulated?" -- it performed like a champ.

I cannot yet comment on durability. That'll take a year or so. But it seems well constructed, and I handle grocery bags with kid gloves (glass, crush-able items, etc), so I have no immediate concerns of it coming apart. (If it does, duct tape will save it.) If I could change one thing -- or rather add one thing about it, I'd add a set of strap handles to the side. That would make it easier to carry when filled, but more importantly give me a couple of easy strap points for connection to my wheeler.

Overall, I recommend the bag highly.
So versatile! So strong!

Nearly 4.5 years later still working great. Lightweight and heavy duty. Holds a lot and had good depth and length. I'm buying more today after one got stuck in the trunk latch. A substitute just won't do!
