I ordered the shampoo and moisture correct masque from the high porosity line and both arrived in perfect condition within two days. The shampoo didn't give my hair much slip but I was surprised to see that when I rinsed it out I had more definition than I've ever had. I could actually see my curl pattern and no other shampoo has ever done that for me. The masque was a little less impressive as it was my hope that it would further define my girls and give me slip but it didn't do too much of either. Even still, the ultimate goal is to improve my hair's porosity over time and judging by the soft feel and manageability of my hair when I rinsed it out, I feel like it would be effective at achieving this.

This is the best sealer that i have ever tried for my HIGH POROSITY HAIR, taking in consideration that my hair is protein sensitive, this mask( which has different kind of oils in it) does a considerable job, but in order for me to see results i have to put on my hair a little bit of non-protein based mask first and then this mask. Something very important to know is that the products you use to style your hair can affect the results for good or for bad. But in over all i think is it is a good product

I bought this mask before understanding porosity. My belief was that my hair isbhigh porosity, based on color/heat styling history, dryness and a comment made by a stylist a few years back. It turns out that my hair is actually low porosity and this product makes it look AWFUL. My already thick 2b waves feel very weighed down, stretched and shapeless. Bad news for me, but great news for people with high porosity hair, so if this is your hair type, you will like this product.

I color my hair, so it seems that this deep conditioner works well for occasional use. It's a little strong. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the ingredients. It feels like it may change the texture of my hair. The smell is awful. It actually smells like a relaxer. I didn't leave it on for very long like I normally do with deep conditioner. My hair was soft and shiny but the smell stayed around after rinsing. I used the shea moisure 3-1 leave in (love this stuff) with water to mask the smell the rest of the week. The jury is out.

I love this stuff! Good conditioner, but the way I love to use it most, is in the morning when I mist my hair with water, I take a small amount on my fingers and mix it with more water and use it as a styling product. It's not heavy. It's not sticky. Stops my frizz....and I have a lot to it! And most importantly to me, not crunchy or smelly!
