It's perfect for travel....no. it's not a Fenwick...mine are 2 pc, way too big to travel but. We LOVE these Chinese telescoping rods. Action is a bit stiff for light weight rainbows but great for heavier weight trout or bass.

Tested a few casts after receiving before using it on water.
The weight system is accurate, the setup is simple, the extendable hand adjustment is great for the final stroke of a cast, and (depending on length) is super comfortable. Additionally with at least 3 out of 5 casts (attempted 20), actually helped with feel, and comfort in wrist//hand//arms. This isn't going to be a rod for everybody, that said, if you are used to telescopic poles, you wont be disappointed, if by chance you aren't, I encourage you to look for a cheaper, simpler setup from your local supermarket (Meier, Walmart, Target, etc)
My Main Gripe:
There are bits and pieces on one rod that move, which on other rods did not (I bought 3 to replace 2 others and give me 1 extra, the 1 with the bits and pieces that move is going to be the one that gets used if//when the others get worse for wear...)

I am using this for fishing in Maui. It broke on the sixth day during a snag the whole front of the rod went into the water. I do not recommend this product. I have another pole from this company that also broke at the middle. it snapped during a cast of a lure. I have a third pole as well that has held up so far.
Update: after leaving my review I was contacted by the company and they sent a replacement rod. I bumped my one star to a four star for the company standing behind their products.
