This telescopic fishing rod and reel are amazing! I bought this for my 9 year old bonus sons birthday. He was so excited when he opened this. He expanded the rod and his dad attached the reel, which was very easy to do. Dad and son both tried spinning the reel to check the ease of the bearings. It's a very nice flowing reel, very impressive!! It can withstand a 12 lb. line. It's very light weight. It's sooo nice and compact, it has a nice lil cover for the tip and a band to keep it compact while traveling. I will probably be buying at least 2 more of these for presents! Shhhhh!! Lol

I bought this to take with me on bikepacking adventures. It is a very nice rod, compact, and smooth. I wish the connecting bar from the reel to the rod was a bit shorter, but a mild complaint. I purchased this pole for my grandson to use on a high adventure hike into the back country of Wyoming. The pole came with a plastic tip protector to keep the tip of the pole safe while backpacking. The pole is easy to open up and close. The pole looks good. The reel functions great and most importantly it is exactly what I was wanting to find for my grandson's hike. We tested it out on a river and lake before he went on his hike and it worked great. For the money it's a great pole and reel.
