You may be thinking why do I need a floor is lava game when the kids will just jump on pillows... well this game adds new twists to the old classic. There's colors you have to land on depending on the spinner, you remove tiles so it gets harder as the game goes on, and there are fun cards that go with tiles the kids have to do.
Our 4 year old will play it alone and we also break it out when cousins come to visit. The kids all try to go for the special tiles to get the cards as they find it so fun. We do typically play with younger kids (age 3-7) but our preteen has enjoyed playing it as well. That being said the tiles are very thin foam which may be a turn off for some but we've had the game for months and they haven't torn or anything.
