Very Pleased with the Headset
Daniel Ricker✓ Verified Purchase•August 10, 2023
I've had this headset for about a week and have used it everyday since it arrived. I'm currently working from home and I use the headset to listen to music while working and for virtual meetings. I've also used it for phone calls. I keep it connected mostly to my phone but connect it to my laptop for virtual meetings.
The unit pairs easily and the transfer of connections is seamless.
I have conversations while I'm listening to music. I was told initially I spoke louder needed but that is not unexpected when simultaneously listening to music no one else can hear.
I am getting just over 9 hours from the battery before the unit tells me "Charge Me".
Even after wearing it for 9 hours, there is very little discomfort. Not much different than wearing glasses.
I've use the headset while wearing a mask and wearing glasses. All works well... Ok... I had to realize I need to put the mask on before the headset or the mask straps pushed my ears out making me look like a alien:-)
The only things I would change are:
1) Reverse the order of the controls so that the charging port if farthest from the ear. This would allow charging while listening. This is assuming that the unit will charge while in use. I don't know this for sure.
2) Make the band adjustable. When I'm wearing a jacket with a collar over my collared shirt, the jacket collar jostles the headset. Minor issue but would be nice to be able to snug it up and eliminate the jostling.
3) Change the volume range. Normally, I use it at the lowest volume setting which is loud enough. While working and listening to the music as background noise I would like to slightly lower the volume but can't. This is the reason for only 3 stars on the volume control.
NOTE: When I'm outside working with power tools, I can increase the volume and hear the music while I work.
Overall, I'm very pleased and have and will continue to recommend this unit to others.

Good battery life!

The best part of these headphones are the battery life. They have really good sound quality and are good for running. Only draw back is the microphone quality when someone calls. I find I have to repeat myself frequently. Overall good headphone.
Muy buenos

1st Pair was Great, 2nd Pair Died (but manufactured honored warranty)

This was my second pair of Aftershokz bone conduction headphones. My first set was used and abused through many miles of cycling, running, and skiing. They eventually broke into two pieces going though TSA airport security. This most recent set, after much lighter use, died after a year. Headphones still pair, right side works, but left side quick working. On the bright side, they still look new. Will be contacting manufacturer to see if they will repair or replace..
UPDATE 2023.05.08: Manufacturer sent me a replacement set after headphones died during second year under warranty with little hassle. Updated from 1 star to 4 stars to reflect that!

One of the purchases I’ve ever made

Alright I just want to start off by saying, this was the second best purchase I've ever made in my entire life, after the Apple Watch Series 4. These headphones are absolutely incredible to run with. I ran about 250+ miles with these over the past few months and I have absolutely no complaints, no suggestions other than the battery life needs a little attention, but that is not to say the battery life is bad. It's extremely good for how small the cells are in this headphone set. These easily gave me about 4 hours of listening time. I found myself charging it every 8 days or so, depending on use. Heavy use would be 3 days, light would be almost 2 weeks.
I saw a few complaints about the range, which I was worried of, but I came to find that the range is actually much bigger than what is advertised. I easily got up to 20 feet away from my phone before it started cutting out. I use an iPhone XR for those wondering.
One thing that I love too is the quickness of the connection to my phone. It's literally instant when you turn these headphones on.
There's no noise cancellation in the slightest, which is expected because they are not over ear headphones, but, and that's a big but, they are loud and clear enough even at 3/5 volume to easily lose track of what you're hearing around you. I saw some complaints too about how dangerous it was if they are too loud, I tested this on a few runs and found cars are extremely easy to make out, you just have to listen closely. I don't advise listening to it at full blast because A) it actually hurts your ears a little when it's at full volume and B) you can't hear anything else but the music.
The use for these was simply nifty. The button on the left side starts and stops the songs, then you have the plus and minus buttons for the volume. So so simple to use and the buttons are nice and clicky and very responsive.
I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I need everyone to know THESE ARE WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY AND TIME. I suggest these to every single runner I come into contact with.
I was worried about the fit when I was wearing glasses or a hat, but there is no reason to worry at all. They stay on very very well.
Now, keep in mind, I only use these to run. Laying down they kinda move a lot and makes the sound quality not so good. Using them walking around the house getting chores done is fantastic. Basically only use them if you're up and at it, you'll get frustrated if you try to use it laying down.
And one more thing, as one cyclist to another, DO NOT WEAR THESE WHEN YOU ARE BIKING. Even tho you can still hear cars, they are not loud or noticeable enough to allow you to hear them thru your music. DO NOT wear these on a cycle, not because they don't work, but because they do and I don't want to see anyone getting hit because of it. Just a friendly reminder to stay safe when you're on the saddle!
