I bought these to use in the bathroom to catch hair that seemed to defy any other solutions I tried to keep it out of the drain. While it does a great job catching hair, it also makes the water pool near the drain instead of draining normally, causing soap and gunk build up. I stopped using the TubShroom and use only the SinkShroom.

Between the long haired daughter and the dogs, my sinks were always clogged. I put these in several sinks, guest half bath, kids shower and sink, my sink (left my husband's sink with regular plug to close). Several times I had hair clogs in my bathroom sink and it was difficult to remove them even with a snake. When I saw an ad for these "mushrooms" that said they would catch all the hair that would otherwise go down the drain I thought I would give them a try. I was pretty sure I was wasting money but they weren't too expensive so I ordered the set of 2. To my surprise they work just as advertised. Hair wraps around the base and is easily removed. 5 stars!!
