Great little tent light! It's plastic and doesn't feel very expensive, but you get what you pay for! It's a good light for reading and I like that I could hook it in a lot of places. I wish there was a way to turn it on and off without going through all the lighting options, but other than that, no complaints!

So when I purchased the light I thought they we're going to be brighter then expected, I put the batteries on and was disappointed, you have to hold it close to whatever you want to se . It works great for a night light when camping though

These lights are small enough to fit in the palm of your hands, bright enough to illuminate an person tent or the table at a campsite. They have a retractable hook to hang from tent, carabiner, backpack, etc. There a bright enough to take the place of our larger camping lanterns, especially if you're using 2-3 at a time around camp.
Cons: we used Duracel AAA batteries with these lights and they still ran incredibly hot. For that reason I would only use them to light spaces temporarily, a few minutes at a time max! I would be worried about a fire hazard if used any longer. Additionally, they turn on easily if packed in a backpack so maybe remove the batteries when not in use.

I was skeptical when they first arrived, because they're smaller than I expected. I needed some battery operated lights for my canopy tent where I was a vendor. I loved how easy it was to clip them onto the tent frame & they helped me stand out when it started to get dark outside. They aren't as bright as a string of Edison lights, but they are a Godsend when you don't have access to electricity! So far, I love them!
