I took the advice of other reviews and looked inside and they are correct, NO way it will handle the claimed amperage, this is the reason for the 4 stars. Eventually I will hook it up similar to another reviewer and use it to controll some relays and contractors to handle a much larger load bit for now I have it running two freezers from solar and it works great, just as it should. Easy to adjust high and low limits.

The media could not be loaded. Very helpful. It does the transfer very smoothly. When my battery reaches 11 volts, this device switches my loads to the regular grid from my home. The only thing it bothers me is that the volts lecture is not accurate, I keep adjusting it. All the other features are fantastic. I I no longer have to worry about my inverter turning off since this ATS will switch before that happens.

It is a while since I am using this ATS, and I am very satisfied with it; in my initial review, I said that it bothered me that the voltage lecture was not accurate, but it turns out the problem was not this device, I was comparing it with the lecture on my solar charger and turns out that was the problem and no this ATS, I tested carefully with different multimeters and the ATS is accurate but my solar controller was not. One suggestion to the manufacturer is to make the screen easier to read, maybe lighted, that will help at night and also for the reflection, which is a lot. I also would suggest adding wifi or Bluetooth connection that will help to check all the info from your phone remotely ( a big help) .

I enjoy experimenting with solar power and I've never had a permanent solar system. The main problem with using solar power as a hobby is that when your battery runs low, your inverter and all the devices connected to your inverter will turn off too. This makes it really difficult to reliably use the power you generate, at least till I learned about this little gem. With this ATS you can connect your grid power, and inverter as an input, a plug (or what ever you decide to use) as an ouput, connect a voltage monitoring cable to your battery (from the ATS), and this device will automatically switch between your inverter and grid power depending on your batteries state of charge without ANY interruption do your devices. If you are watching TV, or gaming on your computer during the switch you will not even notice it. The best part is you get to determine the low voltage at which it changes to grid, and the high voltage when it changes back to your inverter. This means that you can run your devices off your solar panel/battery and then when that power is used up it will swap back to grid power. The next day when the sun comes up and the battery charges, you are back to solar power. This is great way to make permanent use of smaller solar systems. The other exciting thing is that you could (if your batteries can support it) add more and more panels to the system and get usable solar power when the sun is up without having to spend a ton of money on batteries.

There is feature i wish this device had, mainly the ability to manually choose if you want to use grid or solar power, but it's not a deal breaker.

This device can show an incorrect voltage reading (might be off by .2 volts, but if you hold the up and down arrows for 3 seconds you will be able to adjust the offset.

I have used this system for over a week now and it's working flawlessly, i wish i had known about it a long time ago!

These work great. Instant transfer. I wold highly recommend this transfer switch.

What a life saver. My solar system runs my 2 fridges. I would have anxiety every night if there enough battery juice to run the fridge until the morning when the sun comes out again. This unit solved the problem. It switches to house power flawlessly. And it does it uninterrupted. Now I can go on vacation for days and not worry about my system shutting down.
