I'm on a keto diet and I use Swerve "sugar" in all my baking. I was excited when I saw this product and I bought it based on the claim on the front of the box that this is "ketogenic." I didn't look at the ingredients or nutrition info because I trusted the brand "Swerve" as being keto friendly. I should have looked at the nutrition info! This has 11 net carbs for a very small serving! A keto diet means keeping your net carbs under 20 per day, so if I eat this, I only have 9 carbs left for the whole day. This might work for a low carb or diabetic diet, but not for keto! The worst part is that I can't even return it!

The chocolate cake flavor is what I'm reviewing. It's nice to have a cake boxed for convenience. While expensive, cococonut flour or almond flour are the ingredients one would make a low carb cake with and those are expensive. I think this product is reasonably priced for what it is and the convenience factor. The flavor did not scream "chocolate!". The consistency was what I struggled most with. My cake literally turned out gritty/sandy. Strange. Would likely not buy this again

I live the keto lifestyle, and I get tired of trying out recipes, not liking them, ultimately wasting all those pricey ingredients. I decided to buy this to try. Boy, was I impressed! No cooling/aftertaste that most of the sugar alcohols have, and it tasted DELICIOUS! It tasted like something I should feel guilty for eating, however, 150 calories and only 3 net carb for a good sized cupcake?!?! So happy to find these! I will be making a batch of these for my wedding in November so I can actually enjoy cupcakes with my guests! 5 star for sure! Even my non keto fiance loved them!

We do keto off and on...thankfully because it's becoming more popular it's becoming easier because there are more products like this that A. I don't have to spend forever making from scratch. B. Taste really great! I usually don't like to eat things that are "replacements" because they never match up, but this did for us! C. Scratch an itch that make it easy to keep eating this way! I made this for my husband's birthday, I made some buttercream frosting with powdered Swerve sweetener and it was yummy. Didn't kick me out of ketosis (I lost 1.8 lbs overnight). Thanks for making some easy, good food that we can feel good about eating!
