This is a very sturdy metal T Ruler and the measurements are extremely easy to read... black on white. I guess I should have read a bit as I assumed it was a 24" that would run the depth of my art table but that was my error. The one thing I assumed it had, since it has been on all T rulers I have ever used, is a slight lip on the T top cross section allowing you to let it catch on your work station to ensure that your line is perpendicular. Instead it is all one piece of metal. If that is your preference, its a 5 star. I may find that I prefer carefully lining it up with the paper or canvas's edge instead of letting my table's base lip line up my paper/canvase. It does have inches on one side, marked on all edges, and them MM on the other side marked on all edges. It is a fine T Ruler. I hope this helps.

It is accurate, sturdy, and easy to read with metric and "inches". Only real complaint is that if it were "offset" at the T for easier use in place it would be helpful. Flat on both sides makes it a little less easy to use but still VERY helpful.

I"m a heavy handed artist and I can tell you that I've screwed up so many drawings just because a plastic or aluminum ruler slipped at the last second. Frustrating, to say the least!! Thankfully those hair-pulling days are over...FINALLY!! and all thanks to you Mr. Pen!! This T-Square is the Excalibur of T-Squares!!
