Subject line highlights what I really like about these socks. There's more: low cost, high quality--and I'm very fussy about socks. I usually buy a woman's "regular," but here I went for the large, mainly so my toes would have plenty of room. These puppies are dreamy-comfy with boots and sneakers. They add a bit of bulk, so take that into account. Not great socks if your shoes are snug to begin with.

Very minor or almost no discomfort with these. I use cotton in the summer and wool in the winter.
For those who want the warmth of wool made even better, try a wick drying sock liner inside of wool. Your feet will be both drier and warmer & blisters will become rare.

The socks fit as described. They are warm and comfy BUT the band at the top starts to feel tight as the day goes on. If you are a diabetic then you probably will want to avoid these due to the tightness. Washing instructions say cold water use delicate or hand wash and dry on low but that is because they are made of wool, so that should be expected. I wear these at night so I have not used them with boots to know if they stay dry but the seller delivered promptly and the description matched.

I just got these so I can't comment on longevity, but when I take them out of the washer, they are already dry just from the spin cycle. I think I will judge all of my moisture wicking socks in this method. I'm sure you could find some hint of moisture but I washed them with some work shirts and they were dry enough that I thought the washer washing working until I felt my shirts.
