Great quality but not for under 4 due to size

The quality and packaging is great. My only complaint is that some of the pieces are small, chocking hazard small. My kid is under 2 and the packaging does say for over 3. But I would even be concerned about chocking with kid under 5. I've pulled some pieces out to give to him later when he's a bit older and not teething. But other than that a nice quality of the wood and painting.

These are super cute and there's a great variety of foods. I will say I was disappointed that each piece of wooden food came individually wrapped in plastic. Sort of defeats the purpose of buying more eco friendly wooden food.

So far my almost 2-yr old daughter is loving this toy. I have modeled how to "cut" the food on the cutting board and she picked it up right away. She is learning the words for the different foods and likes to pretend to eat them and tries to feed me too! I do have to say though that the chef's hat that comes with it looks nothing like a chef's hat and I threw it away.

Really like this set so far. Got it for my son for Christmas and he plays with this set just about everyday. He cooks me meals quite often lol. The pieces feel nice and solid. The apron and the hat are very cheap but for pretend play it's no big deal. They didn't have a smell to them at all. They did come individually packed which is a lot of plastic but you could use them small packets for other things.
So much fun and great quality.

These are so much fun! The magnets are they perfect strength to keep all the pieces together and pretend cut effortlessly. My 2&3 year olds love these! We also use metal pans and when they pretend to cook up a meal the magnets stick to the pans and it's great because, when they run a dish over for us to eat they don't all spill out. I wish I had known about these when our older kids had play kitchens.
