Great for corners (hardwood floor sanding)

This worked great for sanding corners and near molding when I recently sanded the hardwood floor. FYI - Lowes has a great selection of grits (40,60,80,120) for this detail sander Craftsmen and Gator so you can match grits used on the drum sander, edger, and ROS. Recall, you need to sequentially use the same grit on all 4 sanders (drum, edger, detail, ROS) and ramp up after all floors, edges and corners are done at each grit level. That is, you can't use the drum at 36, 60, 80, and then use the edger at 36,60,80, rather, you have to use all 4 at the same grit on the same day(s).

This was a good choice for me to learn something about sanding. It's light and easy to handle. I used it to sand a kitchen cart that I bought years ago. I had applied a dark varnish and had long wanted to remove it.
