I purchased these lights for my O gauge layout and they're a perfect fit! As stated they come with the diode already in place. At the moment I'm only using the red and green lights (yellow is capped off) attached to SPDT switches since I haven't added the isolated track just yet, nonetheless it keeps me engaged throughout the layout.
There are no wiring diagrams with this set so here is how I connected my lights to the SPDT switches:
Soldered Green wire to one outside switch post
Soldered Red wire to opposite outside post
Soldered Power wire to center post
Connected Ground wire with Diode directly to ground on power box
Switch and lights work perfectly

I will buy more of these in the near future!
