It's a leather cover book with two metal bits to lock. It's pretty much what I wanted. Leather is pretty rough on the inside, you can tell it's cheap and little effort went into cleaning it up, but you only really look at the outside cover anyway which looks good. Pictures in the listing don't show the inside of the covers for this reason. For this style of book, I'm satisfied
