Because it doesn't have ports, it does not cause vibrations when I put in in my cabinet stand for tv. The one I replaced shook up the cabinet top and the tv base on it, making the base sound unbearable to hear. This has great sound and is exactly what I need.

I had a small Polk center channel b4 I bought this. The Polk was ok, but it was very inexpensive and I got what I paid for. The dialog wasn't very crisp and the speaker had no presence. I had it turned all the way up on my receiver. This Klipsch speaker is night and day difference. The dialog is very crisp, even at low volume. I actually had to turn my center level down to blend in with my left and right speakers better. The speaker is a little heavier than I expected and that's not a bad thing because the wooden enclosure is solid. I really love that the grill is magnetic! It's super easy to take off and put back on, as opposed to trying to align rubber spikes with holes, this is a great feature. For $149, this is a no Brainer.
