I have waist/hip length long, slippery dark blonde hair. The hair itself is fine but there's a lot of it. I have a baby and wear my hair up/back a lot, and also only wash every 3 days or so, and can't wear it down for more than a day without it looking greasy. SO having go-to up styles is a must! I got a brown medium sized clip and I love it. I've gotten down a "ponytail" sort of look and a half-do. Looks great if my layered hair was curled the day before. Stays really well, no slipping and pulls hair flatteringly away from my face/cheekbones.
TIP for those of us with slippery hair: start with combs facing teeth-away from your scalp, stretch around base of neck and then flip the combs towards your hair before pushing them in. Took me a few times to figure this out and the combs got hopelessly tangled in my long hair before I could get them actually "in". Same with half-do: separate hair, place and stretch with combs facing away from hair, then flip combs and push in. Hope that's helpful!

I love this clip! I have medium length very thick, coarse, curly hair. Most clips can't hold all my hair or keep it secure and the ones that do end up being too tight and give me a headache. It is a little expensive, but watch for coupons. This clip is excellent. Very impressed with it and I have thinner hair. Looks neat and is very comfortable. I have had no issues with it staying in my hair and I am about to order another one.
Tips for thinner hair:
Try using a hair texturizing powder or spray to give the combs something to grip onto. It will also make fine hair appear fuller. There are several brands, I prefer powder as it is invisible. Just rub it into your roots where you need it. I put a little in my hands and rub them together and then run my hands through my hair- you don't need much, just a few shakes. I believe that dry shampoo might work as well just rub it in well. Hope that helps:)
