It works for my cat!

I have a female cat who used to be in a healthy shape. But after she gave birth she started losing weight. I made her try this product but she doesn't like how it tastes like. So what I did is I put some food toppers or treats (churu inaba chicken flavor works better if ur cat doesn't like the taste of this product) on my palm and then mixed with treats she started to lick and finished it. 3 days after using the product she started to gain weight. :) Hopefully it works with your cats too!

This thing is huge, so fair warning. Onto the good stuff! My 18 year old (vet calls him geriatric lol) kitty Psi-fi has hyperthyroidism, being treated by medication. Over the last month or two, he's gotten increasingly pickier about eating, it was like a roulette of trying to find what flavor, brand, or texture he'd actually eat some of. Cue completely unnerving weightloss, and sleeping far more than we're used to him doing, moving slower, and much more quiet vocally. We'd been doing supplements (nutrivite and the like), but this one's specifically for cats that aren't eating enough or normally.
Within a WEEK, we've gotten our crotchety deaf one-eyed wonder back to his very vocal version of normal. It's extraordinary that I can attribute this directly to giving him this supplement. He's eating better, more energy, and most importantly... We're not terrified the way we were, that we were on the brink of losing him.
Practical stuff experience: he's extremely picky anyway, if he knows it's not his normal food or treats, he'll refuse it, including trying to mix into his food; putting it on his paw, he ignores it completely and I have to clean it off. (Once he figured out the the pill pockets had pills in them, he stopped eating them entirely.)
That said, we do two tsp a day, 1 with each medication dose, every twelve hours. My husband pops the pill with a bit of the pocket wrapped on it, then puts the tsp amount on his finger, and swabs it on the inside of Psi-fi's cheek. It's a thinner gel, so he keeps his head tilted up a second longer so Psi-fi doesn't just let it fall out of his mouth, lol.
The dial a dose can look pretty confusing, so use the notches to determine the in-between printed numbers.
It was kind of difficult to write all this; we were really that scared, to the point of confirming arrangements if we lost him. That he's getting back to his version of normal so well is astounding. It's important to me that I share all this, for others who are feeling desperate, looking for anything that might help. Find a way to get it into them (every furbaby is different) and see if it helps them as much as it saved my Psi-fi.

I've got a cat that must have a weak immune system. I first had to use this when he had an upper respiratory infection that was stubbornly in his sinuses, making it hard for him to smell food. At first he loved the flavor, but he doesn't love the texture. It's the texture that makes it so easy to get him to eat it whether he wants to or not though, because it's easy to smear the dose on his front paws in a way he can't just shake off.
Recently, he had swollen lymph nodes at his jaw and neck that wouldn't go down, and making it hard for him to swallow. He was losing weight. I used this daily to keep him from losing much more than he would have without this. It took a week for antibiotics to show results, but his reluctance to eat was lingering until he was prescribed an appetite stimulant. I firmly believe if I hadn't had Ready Cal on hand, he wouldn't have had what he needed to pull through. He's steadily regaining what he lost and is quickly getting back to his 2 year old self.

Helps My Cat Keep Her Appetite

I have an older cat (20 years) who has hypothyroidism and she has gotten pretty thin. The Under The Weather supplement provides a much needed calorie boost for her a couple times a day. Since giving it to my cat, she eats fairly regularly. So, it seems to stimulate her appetite.
I'm supposed to rate the flavor. I didn't taste it, but the cat seems to like it most of the time. So, I guess it tastes good. It seems a tad pricey for the amount you get but it lasts a while...for cats anyway.
If you're looking for something to get some extra calories in your pet, this is a good choice.

We have a kitty cat who goes through spells where he doesn't have an appetite and he loses weight. I bought this to try and he actually likes the flavor which surprises me because he doesn't like fishy foods. When he has his spells of not eating I give this to him once a day and it stimulates his appetite very well and he's much healthier because of this product. I highly recommend it for sickly pets pets that need to gain weight to eat more and it's full of vitamins and minerals so it's giving them that extra boost. If you have a pet that doesn't like the flavor so much it won't eat it on their own just put it on the end of your finger and just kind of stick it in their mouth and they eventually have to swallow it and it's not like a pill it's sticky and gooey so they have to lick It's in their mouth so they do swallow it eventually. Not sure if it would work well mixed in food cuz I've never tired that before. Overall a very great product and I've had very good results with it.
