Notebook arrived like this - multiple pages in the middle torn, some ripped out entirely. 6 pages total unusable, so salvageable, but still. The missing parts/pages weren't in the smaller box the notebook came packed in, so presumably this must have happened before then, which also rules out shipping as a source of the damage. Some kind of issue during manufacturing I'm guessing.
Otherwise it's a good looking journal, paper has a pleasant feel & thickness to it. Pity about the damage

I ordered the XL (A4) Dartmouth green notebook: it is awesome! High quality. Excellent binding. Looks absolutely amazing. Paper is excellent - and works really well with fountain pens too. I use these type notebooks a lot and this is first time trying the Beechmore brand. It's my new favourite brand. The A4 size is perfect for my use, and I enjoy that the line rule isn't too narrow like other brands. The paper is perforated, so pages can be removed if desired. I don't know that I need that feature, but the perforations aren't noticeable ... so if you do not want to remove pages, that feature won't be a problem. If you are gifting this, it comes in a very nice box lined with tissue paper. Highly recommend!!
