Ignore the big hole in the picture. That's for an access panel that cant be put on until the product completely cures. However this product WORKS GREAT!!! They have expert advice on YouTube to learn everything you need to know about applying this. If you're going to spend the money. Definitely watch this. Product looks great and DOES make the surface a lot cooler to the touch. Pretty easy to do yourself with a little research. My only hesitancy on giving 5 stars is I don't know how long it will last. But for right now I LOVE IT

I used this to repair an old cool deck that had deteriorated. First patch any defects. although it is thick its basically paint and what's underneath does show though.
Do two things when using this:
1. have an extension for your roller handle so you aren't on your knees.
2. Don't even think you can mix it by hand, its VERY thick and you must have a paint stirrer on a drill.
I think it turned out very nice, it is cool in the hot sun.
You have two choices when you buy it, the coating only, or the coating PLUS cleaner and sealer.
The cleaner does work well, but I think pressure washing and a cleaning product would get a good result as well.
I bought the 3 part kit first, but plan to use the coating only on the next section.

Although a little pricey, this product seems to work as intended. It has been down now since May and I am happy with the look and coolness on the deck. I did put a densities down prior to applying the product. So far so good.

Easy to use and looks fantastic. Loved the product. Issue with packaging. 2 of 5 bundles we ordered, lid was loose on liquid adhesive and spilt in bucket. Powder fiber is in plastic bagging, but bag was soaked. Adhesive got on hands and ground as we removed the powder bag to open. Aggravating to have to scrub off hands. Would suggest separate packaging or different lid for liquid adhesive.

The finished product looks very nice. But, we just did it. That doesn't mean it will look good next year. The color is even & the texture is nice. It is 80 degrees out & I didn't notice it being hot on my bare feet.. So far, I am very pleased. We did everything they suggested. I looked at almost all of their videos. I think that the people who have complained did not do proper prep. ie; removing all chipping or corroding concrete, or old decking. We went over our old "Kool Deck" with EZ Patch. We repaired all of the cracks & damaged Kool Deck before we started the "Cool" process. As long as it lasts, I will be very happy.
