Great fun with minor flaws

Bought this a couple weeks ago for my 20 month old. He and I have both found it quite entertaining. The concept is excellent, but the product does have some minor flaws. The paint started chipping slightly within a week, and they are also slick enough that balancing in anything more than the simplest arrangements is challenging, especially for a toddler. I'm satisfied with the product but there's room for improvement.

my three year old grandson loves this even though it at first took time for him to be drawn to it. kids live in a world with paw patrol and dinosaurs and super heroes and so at first the notion of playing with these "blocks" was not enticing. but now i hear that he loves sitting down with his parents and creating new designs. it helps to have sample of designs that come with the blocks so you can start thinking over and beyond the obvious designs. the notion of different colors being side by side as compared to other colors next to each other is new to him and he delights in realizing that some colors together are more appealing than others. this is a toy that knows no age limits. it's well made and well worth the price.
