I'm giving this "off road" wheelchair 5 stars (10 if I could) because:
1. The learning curve to go from novice to proficient takes 5 minutes--and I'm a klutz.
2. Operating the joystick and steering the chair proficiently is easier than running a bumper car at the State Fair
3. It turns on a dime
4. The seat is comfortable--like a living room side chair
5. Thankfully I'm not wheelchair bound, but that said, getting in and out of this chair is a snap
6. It's childproof--the grandkids love taking it for a spin. It doesn't go too fast and it's not "tippy"
7. It's "cool." Trust me, when you're in a wheelchair, looks count.

Customer Support--Exceeds Expectations because:
1. A live person answers the phone. No "press 1, 2, 3 . . . 27" .( If you get the machine, a live person will call you back shortly, even if you didn't leave a message.)
2. This customer service rep will Know What He/She's talking about!!!
3. The rep's I've spoken to are Patient, Helpful, and will take the time to discuss anything--from mailing speed and costs and options to the advantages of a reclining chair to how to locate the elusive batteries--if you've misplaced the manual like I did.
4. And if you're really lucky, Al will be the one to take your call
My Experience:
Twenty years ago our son was paralyzed after his brain tumor metastasized. He needed a left-hand operated electric wheel chair to be mobile and none was to be found locally or in the nearby metropolitan areas. By the time we got the call that one was available, he had passed on the night before. So, yes, I have electric wheelchair issues.
Three years ago I auto-immune issues that -among other things- made walking painful and difficult. Needed a walker, then crutches, then a cane . . . . Not complaining because the condition was and is improving. But it meant I couldn't handle long treks, like our annual trip to the Renaissance Festival with the Grandchildren. Went in 2018 in a push wheelchair that put far too much strain on my husband. So the next year I bought this wheelchair through Amazon Prime..
Best. Purchase. Ever!!!
But, by the time I made up my mind to make the purchase, getting it on time to go the RenFest was "iffy" so I called Customer Service and they were so helpful about delivery times, etc. I made up my mind to purchase their wheelchair then and there.

I was hesitant to buy an electric wheelchair without first trying it out, but this was an excellent buy! I couldn't be happier with it. I am a very large person. This chair fits me well, is easy to maneuver, and has incredible battery longevity. My husband is thrilled with how easy it folds up and how easily he can put it in the car. There are some good grip points. He only has to lift either the front or back wheels into the back of the car, and it slides in. Its relatively light weight at 50 pounds, but is sturdy and handles my weight easily. The batteries last a long time. I do not use this chair 24/7, but rather just for when I would need to walk any distance. I have COPD, so walking and breathing became quite difficult. We purchased two carabiners to hang from the back railing of the chair to clip my portable oxygen unit on it. I also bungee corded a sham pillow for extra back support. All in all, this was an excellent buy and I would purchase it again.

Extremely well made and comfortable. I am 6' and weigh 210 lbs and have plenty of room with the standard size. If you are larger than me, you may want to look into the xl version. Speed range is good and turning radius is excellent. If you are in need of a light weight power wheel chair, you can't go wrong with the Ranger Discovery.

lightweight and easy to maneuver. small complaints, 1. it needs lifting handles to assist in loading in the car. 2. the foot rest needs to be bigger. 3. the bolts continue to back themselves and i need to tighten all of the bolts before each use, even after adding lock tight. 4. the charger should be able to charge each battery separately also. The chair works great and the battery lasts for much longer than we expected and the speed of the chair is amazing.

Tl: Dr - 10/10 would buy again

I am a plus size woman with a degenerative skeletal condition. Although I can use a cane for the most part now, there will be a time when I am wheelchair-bound. I wanted this to use primarily whenever I go to big box stores (Sam's, Target, Walmart, Lowe's, etc.) where the electric carts are often either in use, dead, or broken, or to use while traveling. Since I had a trip coming up and I have the available funds, I went ahead and bought it.

I have used this chair extensively since receiving it, not quite three months ago - including a twelve day, three city vacation. My assessment is below.

Pros:
The chair comes almost completely assembled. (You do need to add the joystick and storage pouch underneath.) The batteries do already have a charge. You can literally use this chair within minutes of unboxing.
The learning curve is slight. Some have complained about it being "jerky" when starting. Put the speed setting on three or less and it'll fix that for you.
It is truly multi-terrain. That said, it will not operate well in sand or on loose gravel. It does work on packed gravel. I was able to maneuver easily even in historic districts of several towns, and on rather steep inclines.
When folded it is not much larger than a deluxe baby stroller, and only slightly heavier. Removing the batteries before lifting it will help here.
The five speed settings are amazing.
The batteries hold a charge extremely well. I did not have to charge my batteries the entire 12 days I was on vacation, even with daily use.
It is very easy to clean.
The seat cushion is very comfortable.
It is fairly quiet.
Customer service is top notch if you have an issue. (See below.)

Cons:
I would have loved to have seen some type of hooking device or strap to help keep the frame closed when trying to load it. Sort of what strollers have.
It is difficult to use a shopping cart or other basket system to hold items if shopping. (But you'd have that with pretty much any wheelchair.) Would really love to see some sort of basket accessory that could attach to the arm not utilizing the joystick. A friend made me some bags that hook over the arms which helps for small items. I'm not a fan of the back pouch thing, although it is useful for storing a poncho (get one big enough for the entire chair). It's just not very accessible if you are traveling alone.
It reclines more than I like, but that's a personal preference. I purchased a lumbar seat cushion which solved the issue for me.

I will say this: I did have an issue where the top part of the battery that shows the charge level came off and the battery was stuck inside the frame. I contacted customer service and they were kind, respectful, quick, and responsive (thank you Al!). They had a technician to my home in a few days to fix the issue. Inconvenient? Yeah, for a few days. But the communication was clear and frequent, and I was never left guessing. I was treated the way I would've wanted my mother treated if this was an issue for her.

Tips: if you are inclined to leave the wheelchair in your vehicle, bring in the batteries and joystick. Neither like extreme temperatures and any type of batteries can combust if they get too hot.
Slide the batteries in gently. When folded it can be tempting to drop the battery into the frame with a "thunk," but that will put strain on the plastic cap that provides your battery level reading.
Get a poncho that covers you AND the chair. Random thunderstorms and electronics don't mix well.
