I have two senior dogs who were rescued from a puppy mill. I doubt if I will ever have them 100% potty trained, but these pads make life much easier. First, I am happy that I am not contributing to a landfill using the disposable pads. Second, these wash easily (even in cold water) using regular detergent. Third, if my dog urinates near the edge, the stitching is strong enough to keep the urine from going over the edge. Fourth, the backing keeps the pad from moving. I choose to air-dry them because I think the backing will hold up longer. I have no proof of that; this is only my opinion. They arrived quickly. One other comment is that it is easy to not see feces on the printed pads. The feces look like part of the design, so you have to look carefully. In the future, I will buy solid color pads.

I was against the idea of reusable/washable pads but my dog had an obsessive joy in shredding the disposable kind and even the astroturf I bought as an alternative. Eventually I decided to try these and they have completely saved my life! He has no interest in playing with them and figured out really quickly it is his potty spot. I was so skeptical this would work but I'm so happy I tried these! I'd recommend placing in the same spot as prior pads to new users as it will help cue your dog what these are for.

I wasn't sure if these pads would work. Others state leakproof and yet they leak.
These pads are Great! I have a senior pup that already lost his sight, and he recognizes the pad and takes care of his business. He has a lot of fluid, and these pads absorb it. Best part NO LEAK. All I do is fold the pad and place it in the wash, then dry. I also use the smaller pad for the water bowl. No more wet floors. These pads can save you $$ from continuously buying the disposable pads. Give them a try, I'm sure you'll be happy.
