Excellent weight
Sammy✓ Verified Purchase•February 5, 2024
The first brand I bought was too heavy. I knew immediately that I cannot put the heavy iron on my SUV. Then, I found this one. I loved it for the weight, even before opening the box. It looks great too.
Worked on 2003 4Runner

I bought this because we were moving, although the drive time was only 1.5 hrs the road was not smooth, I was concerned with the curvy road and all the bumps but it held up well. My boys bikes have crossbars that are slanted so they fit a bit weird on the rack, I am sure people driving behind me thought I did it wrong, LOL, but you are supposed to use the crossbars and I wanted the weight to be even, I also used bungee cords for extra security. I am not sure I would trust it for long distance hauls, especially for heavy bikes like ours, but for in town runs I think it's great, also it fit perfectly into my 2003 Toyota 4runner tow hitch, no need to adjust anything.
Perfect Bike Carrier

I purchased this carrier to attach to my Chevy Silverado truck. The unit is well made, and has an adapter that fits to 2" receiver connection. Bushings are inserted to ensure a good fit and a through bolt to tighten the assembly. The bike is held in place with Velcro ties and the upper section can be lowered on a hinge to access the contents of your pickup bed. It's a nice carrier for the price point.
This rack is awesome at a fraction of the price

I was surprised to see how much hitch- style dual bike racks go for by the big brands, but I definitely got my money's worth when it comes to this one.
It was very simple to put together. The wrench that it came with was only meant to fit the larger bolt, so you will need a hex bit or wrench to do the other three.
It feels very stable on my HR-V's hitch and I love that the design allows for it to be tilted so I have access to the trunk (I installed a MasterLock hitch lock in the slot that allows the tilt for added protection).
Also, the hitch insert being slightly off-center makes it so that the back up camera is not blocked in my case. And the highly visible yellow padding and reflectors keep would-be tailgaters at bay, which is a nice bonus.
Overall, I haven't found anything wrong with this bike rack. I would recommend getting small bike straps to keep the wheels straight (came up in the recommended tab when adding to cart, so should be easy to find).
