I purchased this the same time as a leading name-brand retailer that is known for this type of jacket. While the name brand jacket was of much higher quality it was almost 7x the price. I quickly returned the expensive jacket and kept this one instead. I know this one won't last nearly as long, but for the price I think it's great. No brainer. If you are looking for a jacket you can really beat up I wouldn't probably avoid this jacket, but if you just need a casual jacket and are careful with your things this should do the trick for a few seasons. I'm 5'11" and 185lb and wear a size Large shirt - Large size for this jacket was a good fit.
