I wish all tents came with this style of poles. Super easy to thread the elastic thru. Makes setting up the tent a breeze. I cut the ends with a tubing cutter and then sanded any rough edges.

Nice product but the item we were repairing was not the same. Seems to me that most commercial tent poles are reverse of what was in your kit. Anotherwards it's kind of hard to put two female ends together. Would be nice if u wouldook at the actual poles u r putting this not out to replace/repair. We were eventually able to repair the pole but we had to cut pieces of the original poles to make it work.

I purchased these aluminum replacement tent poles to replace the old fiberglass poles I had on my tent. The old tent poles were showing their age and I had a hard time sliding them through the tent sleeves with the collar fittings but these new aluminum poles work great and are a lot stronger. It's nice that you can customize the pole length and the fittings on the end to fit the tent. The pole assembly process was very easy with the right tools and it took me about an hour to put them together. These tent poles work great!

I can't say about the long term reliability but just so far they are so much nicer than the original figerglass poles I had. They are much lighter and more compact making them easier to handle. The aluminum feels very strong and seems like it'll last. The best part is the connections on the inside of the pole. Not having them get caught while setting up and taking down has made it so much nicer to use my tent. I will now replace my others too not just the ones that broke.
