Super cute, but too big

I ordered a 7 in the mauve-purple, lavender color. They came with ball-of-the-foot insoles and ankle grips you could add, but even with those, I ended up returning them because they were too big. I thought maybe I could make them work, but they were just a bit too big to walk around in. I usually wear a 6.5-7 in heels, so I didn't think the 6 would work either.

I bought these for a formal event last year, and they were surprisingly comfortable. The gold is very faint, and doesn't overpower the shoe at all. I ordered a 6 and love the way they fit. The only issue was the shipping time; it took them several weeks longer than estimated to arrive, and I almost had to wear different shoes. Luckily they arrived the week of and I got to wear them. They were gorgeous and I got several compliments!
