Awesome Gazebo For Blocking Sun And Rain On Deck
GeeBee4Sabres✓ Verified PurchaseNovember 8, 2023
This is exactly what I was looking for to offer shade and block rain from my deck; which is in full sun all afternoon and evening. It is very nicely made with full screens to keep out pests and enclosures to block sun and rain on all four sides. When the weather is nice we open all the solid enclosures and let the breeze blow through the screens. When we want to eat outdoors we just close the solid enclosures on the sides that have the sun and leave the sides that aren't in the sun open for ventilation. At night we can sit out with or without privacy. I have a large octagon patio table with 4 very large chairs, a plant stand with a cover that I use as a sideboard, a small round glass table, a small folding table, and a tote with outdoor supplies (dishes, silverware, napkins, tablecloths, placements, etc.) in this 10' x 10' gazebo. I was even able to hang a chandelier that I had from a previous gazebo. I absolutely love most everything about it. The assembly instructions were very poorly written, but this 72 year old woman and my daughter were able to assemble it in a couple of hours. I anchored it to my deck and will remove the top and curtains after Labor Day so it will hopefully give me several years of service. All in all it has been a great purchase and we've already gotten a ton of use out of it. Would highly recommend this gazebo as it is very sturdy in the wind and extremely versatile. I've owned 4 others and this is one of the very best I've owned.
We need replacement parts C missing silver clip fastener
JC✓ Verified PurchaseNovember 7, 2023
I've written the seller to request some replacement parts. First of all, let me just say the manual was ridiculous in terms of length and lack of details for such a complex gazebo. It says put parts A and B together, for example, but doesn't say which way. do we put the groove side in or face it out? My husband and I assembled everything the WRONG way. Make sure the bolts face inside and the groove faces outside for the main beams. We found out later when we tried to put the top on and it didn't fit everything.

Then, as if things weren't hard enough, after we redid all the bes and poles and then put the top on, come to find out that parts C and D, which alternate, had some defect. There are 4 C parts which connect diagonally to the poles. Only 2 out of the 4 had the silver button that clips into the corner frame. We thought maybe we assembled parts C the wrong way. But alas, nope, because neither side for the 2 parts had the silver bolt. We knew we had done it right but they were missing that silver bolt. So for 2 out of those 4 C parts, we had to find our own screws and screw them in. And they just don't fit quite right. So please seller, send us the replacement C poles on top of the gazebo.

Also, we finally put the tops on, and it's not as if we pulled hard, but lo and behold, one of those corners ripped! How could it be so fragile as to rip? Surely, the manufacturer knew that it had to have some resilience to the corner frame which is slightly sharp. They could have made the curtain on the Corners just a little thicker. We barely pulled on it and it ripped.

I've provided pictures below for everything. Just make sure when you assemble the beams to face the grooves on the outside. Oh by the way, on one of those pole holes with corner frame, no matter what we did, the screw would not fit. We tried everything. This is such a pain.

We have two young kids and we took way more time than we should have trying to assemble this. The company should make a clearer manual or at least provide a video of how to assemble it. And please send us replacement parts! We hope this will withstand rain and wind. It's lighter than we thought, but it's also quite attractive and sturdy. We bolted it to the ground. Time will tell whether it's as high quality as the ads and some reviews lead us to believe
We Love Ours!!

I purchased this in May 2022 but waited until now so I could give a review based on a year of using it.

It arrived on time but was missing some screws. The company shipped them to me but it took a week to get here so it was disappointing because I wanted to have it up for Memorial Weekend. Oh well.

I put most of it together by myself with the exception of the first few pieces and my son/husband helped. The rest I did by myself. We placed it on our deck pretty close up to the house which I believe helps with the wind--the house blocks a good bit of it. Regardless, I anchored it to the deck by drilling screws into the feet of the gazebo. It's not going anywhere.

We love it! Sat many days/evenings out there without being bitten by mosquitos. I usually try to close all of it up when it's going to rain hard. For just a quick shower I leave it open. I also bought a cover for the furniture and last winter I covered the furniture and closed up the gazebo and everything made out fine. We had no snow at all last winter (and don't usually get a lot).

I have a cover for it this winter and plan to use it to help preserve the material so it doesn't dry rot. I found the material of the gazebo to be fine. It's lightweight and I bought some anchors for the bottom to help with the wind blowing them. I've had no issues with the screens either or zippers.

I plugged the little holes in the roof (not the vent) to stop the rain from dripping in all over the furniture and that has really helped.

I would definitely buy again!
Love it

The side curtains fall out of the track very easily, poor design. Other than that it's perfect.
Nice once assembled

Update after 2 years. After two years of full time exposure to the east Tennessee elements the top fabric cover failed during a windstorm. I have contacted Suncrown about purchasing a replacement fabric cover. They quickly responded that it was possible to purchase just the top cover ($150), but they have had no stock for the last 2 months.

Despite these challenges I believe the product performed well considering the relatively low cost. I will likely purchase a second complete unit ($300) so that we can enjoy the patio again this summer.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Once assembled, I like this gazebo and I am happy that I purchased it. But completing the assembly was a significant challenge that could have been greatly improved by reasonably detailed instructions. Here are the highlights of my experience:

1) Slow to ship - They printed the shipping documents immediately, but the item did not actually arrive for three weeks. This was not delays in transit, it was a delay in actually handing the package off to the freight company. I made this purchase decision partly on availability and would have likely made another selection if the actual shipping time was known.

2) Marginal packaging - Several items are packed in protective sleeves, but there are other items that are shipped inside of other items which make for surprizes and inadvertent damage.

3) Quality of screws/bolts - The screws and bolts are of the lowest grade and the drive slots strip out with the slightest provocation. The use of power tools will result in damaged hardware that is almost impossible to remove. I ended up replacing some hardware with higher quality versions.

4) Assembly instructions are abysmal - I, like many other providing reviews here, had to assembly, scratch head, disassemble and re-assemble at several steps due to lack of reasonable instructions. This is made more problematic with the poor quality attaching hardware.

Having said all the above, the final results, at least for now, seem like a reasonable trade for the financial cost. Not sure it was worth all the labor to figure out the assembly.
